"Yearning for you"

Kawazu-zakura was discovered in the 1950’s in Kawazu-city, Shizuoka prefecture. Kawazu-zakura is known to have an early blooming season compared to other cherry blossoms. Many tourists gather around February 10th in the city to celebrate the Kawazu-zakura festival, which is also the first sign of the spring.
