―How long have you been selling Sola cube?
I don’t remember exactly, but I think it was about 15 years ago?
―What made you decide to sell the product?
I remember seeing Sola cube at Spiral in Aoyama and inquiring about it.There had been works and accessories with plants encased in acrylic or plastic before, but they were at two extremes: expensive works of art and cheap souvenir-like items.
Sola cube was attractive because it was an ornament of good quality at an affordable price in between.
―How do customers think of Sola cube?
Sola Cube is purchased by a wide range of customers of all genders and ages.
In particular, it tends to be chosen as a gift because it comes in a box.
They carefully compare the meaning of each plant or stone and select a cube of a color or shape that matches the personality and tastes of the receiver, which has been very popular.
The beauty of the natural world seems to be trapped inside acrylic, making it attractive as a room or office decor, and it is also highly popular as a gift.
We also have many repeat customers, who have purchased a Sola Cube once and come back to the store to choose a gift for someone else.
In addition, we have seen customers who have received a Sola Cube as a gift and have been so impressed that they have come back to purchase a gift for someone else.

The store carries a selection of Japanese products, including “HASAMI PORCELAIN” for which the owner, Mr. Shinomoto, serves as creative director.
Please visit the store when you come to Los Angeles.
